Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative medicine uses and optimizes the body’s abilities to heal itself.
Benefits can therefore be obtained by avoiding the use of drugs that can cause side effects without necessarily promoting tissue healing.

Stem cells are a way of the future but are still an area reserved for scientific research in Canada.
Plasma Enriched in Platelets or PRP
Injecting PRP (blood plasma with increased platelet concentration) is a treatment technique used in various orthopaedic and sports injuries.
This treatment involves taking a small amount of blood from the patient and centrifuging it in order to extract the platelet-rich plasma. The plasma is then re-injected under ultrasound guidance into the area needing treatment.
Injecting PRP stimulates the healing process by reducing inflammation and accelerating the regeneration of ligaments, tendons and tissues. Platelet-rich plasma releases growth factors that activate cell renewal, promote the formation of blood vessels, and thus accelerates the healing process. Unlike corticosteroid infiltration, PRP is not a pain reliever, but rather a restorative treatment, effective in the long term.
Several injections may be required, a few weeks apart.
Supplements
Certain supplements are useful for optimizing wound healing and tissue regeneration, nerve function and tissue oxygenation. These supplements help relieve pain caused by nerve damage and support the restoration of nerve function after damage caused by compression, for example.
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)
- Vitamin B9 (folic acid)
- Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin):
- Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone)
- Acetyl-Carnitine
- Lipoic acid (ALA)
- Inositol
- Magnesium
- Glutathione
- Turmeric: 550 mg daily
* It is recommended to consult a health professional (doctor, pharmacist, nutritionist) before taking supplements or starting a special diet.
