WHAT TO EXPECT
Consultation
How soon can I get an appointment?
An appointment can be quickly arranged, generally around 10 to 14 days.
Where can I meet with Dr. Brutus?
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Be sure to bring the results of any tests you have already done (X-rays, physician’s instructions).
How long does a consultation take?
A consultation usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes. We make sure that you have had the time you need to get a clear understanding of your condition and our suggested treatment.
Will I need to undergo additional test?
X-rays, ultrasound, nerve conduction study, CT scan or MRI may be required. Some of these tests can be done on our premises.
Will I need surgery?
Many conditions can be treated without a surgical intervention. Surgery could be required in certain cases. However, Dr. Brutus is a specialist in minimally invasive procedures and will always choose the least invasive option to treat your condition, shorten your recovery time, and allow you to resume your regular activities as soon as possible.
Surgery
What type of anaesthetic will be used?
Minimally invasive surgeries are generally performed with a local or regional anesthetic. Dr. Brutus will be able to converse with you during the procedure and you can even observe the surgery on a monitor, if you want to.
What should I bring with me on the day of the procedure?
