Causes of flexor tendon injury?

Most of the time, the injury is caused by a laceration but can also be seen without skin disruption.

Symptoms

The affected finger is unable to flex or bend. Pain can also be present.

How to diagnose it?

TA careful physical examination by a specialist will allow to recognize the injury.

Surgery

Flexor tendons require surgery in all cases to repair the tendons. Hand therapy after surgery is required.
