The consultation costs
are not deductible from the costs of surgery to respect the independence of choice of the patient and the
doctor.
During your
consultation, after a thorough examination and diagnosis, a treatment plan will be explained to you. After
that, you will be able to get a detailed quote regarding the price of surgery.
The costs related to a
surgical procedure include the costs related to anesthesia, surgery, implants used (if applicable), and
post-surgical follow-up for two years.
A 50%
deposit is necessary to book the date of your surgery. The costs must be fully paid one week (7 days) before
the date of the surgery. They may be paid by credit card (Mastercard and Visa) or by certified check.
Private
essential medical services are currently not taxable and entitle you to a tax credit depending on your
individual fiscal status. However, medical services such as esthetic treatments or medical expertise are
taxable.
The administrative fee corresponds to the administrative costs related to the scheduling of
your consultation, opening and preparing your file, and answering any questions prior to your
consultation.
Please note that when you request a consultation to be scheduled for you, the administrative
work related to this will be done and therefore the administrative fee is non-refundable.
If a consultation is cancelled more than 2 full business days before the scheduled date, the
consultation fee will be fully refunded, but not the administration fee.
If a consultation is cancelled less than 2 full business days before the scheduled date,
both
the consultation fee and the administration fee will be forfeited.
Rescheduling Consultation
We understand that you may need to reschedule your consultation. Please do so 2
full business days or more prior to your consultation in order for us to update the schedule. If you
need to reschedule your consultation less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date, a rescheduling
fee will apply.
